Textile sculpture workshop (FR/NL/EN)
Take a break, slow down, and learn textile crafting techniques with artist and scenographer Isabel Brems. During a series of creative workshops, you'll create a textile installation of soft, sausage-shaped pillows. Your creations will contribute to a new space for you and our visitors to relax, dream, and connect within WIELS.
Isabel Brems is a textile designer and scenographer. Recognizing textiles as a comforting material often sought in times of distress, she explores their textures and tactile qualities to invite touch. By recycling as many materials as possible, she tries to stay connected to a sustainable practice.
Through her work, Isabel creates her own textile paradise: spaces where touch is central, inviting us to pause and reconnect with ourselves and others.

The workshops are modular, allowing you to register for a single session or a full cycle (4 days), depending on your availability.
The workshops are open to everyone: adults and children aged 6 and above (children under 9 must be accompanied).
