Initiated by art lovers in 2007, WIELS presents in its emblematic building:
- temporary exhibitions by recognized or emerging artists and the production of new works and new ideas;
- the exchange of ideas and practices through the international residency programme;
- the exchange of ideas and dialogue through a wide range of activities, visits, lectures and workshops for a variety of audiences.
