Events

FLIES

Exploring the space between installation and performance, FLIES is an in situ piece that ‘activates’ the façade of WIELS. Ever evolving cycles of jumping, falling and running highlight the inter-relationship between space and movement.

By Renato Miskolczi and Abigail Aleksander. Made in collaboration with the performers: Charlotte Cétaire, Eleni Roberts, Jean Pierre Bure and Urte Groblyte. FLIES was created as a personal work project during the second year training cycle at P.A.R.T.S..

Ula Sickle - Relay

In Ula Sickle’s performance Relay, a black flag is kept in continuous motion. It tells a story of protest, resistance and collective agency.

Book report by Sven Lütticken (EN)

Speaking from the unsovereign position of a reader, rather than as an author, Sven Lütticken will discuss tropes, tendencies and tensions in the literature on sovereignty.
