Taxonomy Isn’t Permanent — and other notes on Nairy Baghramian’s sculpture

Kate Nesin is an art historian, researcher, and writer based in upstate New York. She has held curatorial positions at the Toledo Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and is currently curator-at-large at the Art Institute. Author of Cy Twombly's Things (2014), Kate has written on a wide range of artists, including most recently Lutz Bacher, Carl Cheng, B. Ingrid Olson, and Liza Sylvestre.
