Blytt´s praxis embraces painting and focus on painterly questions, while also challenging and testing the limits of the painterly medium. The relationship between image and text is essential in his works, relating to current social and political questions which makes them both formally and conceptually charged. As a painter he draws upon political and personal aspects in his subject matters.
