The Goals of WIELS

  A.To disseminate, inform, analyze and share by participating in the current debate on contemporary art with a program of dynamic temporary exhibitions.

  B.To innovate, research, develop and create with a program of artists’ residencies.

  C.To diversify and revitalize with a group of complimentary activities: projections, concerts, lectures, seminars and workshops.

  D.To train and prepare for the future by developing workshops for young people, educational projects, and training and mediation seminars.

  E.To create a social link through development of socio-cultural programs and the hiring of lower income residents.

   F.To develop and preserve our architectural heritage by opening a classified historical building to the public.
