Christian Lebrat is film director, video artist and photographer. He directs the editions Paris Expérimental which just released his collection of texts on cinema: Radical cinema (2008). There is a cinema which grows out of the beaten paths and invents its own rules. There is a cinema which is independent from the movie business, the art world and the fashion industry. There is a cinema in which each film rephrases the definition of cinema. There is a cinema which constantly renews forms, like its own existing modes. There is a cinema which constitutes an hard core, impossible to circumvent.
