![]() Experimental films selected by Christian Lebrat / Paris Expérimental This screening is organized at the event of the 42nd issue of the art magazine l'art même, which new edition is dedicated to experimental cinema. Christian Lebrat is film director, video artist and photographer. He directs the editions Paris Expérimental which just released his collection of texts on cinema: Radical cinema (2008). There is a cinema which grows out of the beaten paths and invents its own rules. There is a cinema which is independent from the movie business, the art world and the fashion industry. There is a cinema in which each film rephrases the definition of cinema. There is a cinema which constantly renews forms, like its own existing modes. There is a cinema which constitutes an hard core, impossible to circumvent.
