This publication accompanies the exhibition Benoît Platéus: One Inch Off presented at WIELS and Bonner Kunstverein in 2019. This first monograph of the artist spans his 20 years of practice, from his early color photographs to his most recent paintings, through his collages, sculptures, retouched images, editions... This essential publication includes essays by Devrim Bayar (curator of the exhibition) and the independent curator and critic Jill Gasparina, as well as short notices by historian Virginie Devillez and an introduction by Dirk Snauwaert and Michelle Cotton. The design is signed by Boy Vereecken and Antoine Begon.
